The final version of iOS 12.1.1 now available. These are the news

Apple just launched the final version of the first update corresponding to iOS 12.1. As usual in these small updates, the number of developments is small and focuses mainly on some devices. The iOS 12.1.1 update focuses specifically on both the iPhone XR and video calls through FaceTime.

Regarding calls through FaceTime, thanks to this update, we can finally Switch between the rear camera and the front camera with one press, a function that sincerely missed the arrival of iOS 12, especially if we regularly use video calls between Apple's iOS devices.

Regarding the news that comes to the iPhone XR, after installing this update we can finally Preview notifications with the haptic response of this device, a device that does not enjoy 3D Touch technology, but a different response mechanism that not all users have become accustomed to.

The latest news that comes from the hand of this new update, we find in the Dual SIM compatibility with eSIM with new operators, a feature that is available for both the iPhone XR, and the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

In order to download this update, we must go to Settings> Software update. While it is true that it is a minor update, at first this should not present any problem of operation in the device, something that unfortunately happens from time to time.

A few days ago, Apple stopped signing iOS 12.0.1, so currently if you are in that version, automatically you can update directly to iOS 12.1.1, although at the moment, and probably during the next two weeks, you can continue updating to iOS 12.1.
