When it is not one, it is another. What is clear that between Apple and Pangu will get users to update our devices sooner than we had thought. iOS 10 at the moment has left out the iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and iPad Mini, 32-bit devices, although they are not the only ones that will not be able to receive the latest version of iOS. As if that were not enough, the Pangu boys have just announced that the devices that are currently managed by a 32-bit processor will not receive any jailbreak for any of the iOS versions between 9.2 and 9.3.3.
When the guys from Evad3rs were in charge of jailbreak, they always used to launch a version that allowed jailbreak to devices that would no longer receive updates such as the most recent case of the iPhone 4, which did not get to enjoy iOS 8. But it seems that for Pangu that's a secondary issue and just announced Devices that currently have a 32-bit processor will not receive the option to jailbreak, in this way the iPhone 4s, 5 and 5c together with the iPad 2,3,4, the iPad Mini and the iPod touch of the 5th generation can already forget to enjoy their favorite tweaks.
Saurik, the creator of Cydia, has pronounced Reddit about it (and that Pangu has not offered an official explanation) to try to justify this decision. In the thread of Reddit Saurik states that offering a jailbreak for 32-bit devices it is double the job, since it is a different procedure than the one used with 64-bit ones. In addition, 64-bit processors are the ones that will continue to be used in the future and to focus efforts on a 32-bit version that will soon disappear is wasting time uselessly.
In this way if you are one of the lucky ones who has not suffered any problem on their devices and today you still enjoy iOS 9.0.2 we recommend that do your best not to suffer any problem on your device that forces you to restore. Otherwise if you have a higher version, you can forget about jailbreak forever (at least for now), since the jailbreak that Pangu launched for iOS 9.1 was also exclusive for 64-bit devices, which also left out the devices more veterans than I have commented above.
