News Pro, Microsoft's new iOS application

Microsoft launched this Tuesday a new iOS application called News Pro. The company describes the application as its short news work, and says that it will help you find news around your needs and tastes every day, as well as feed your unique interests on more than a million topics that are available .

The application comes from the Microsoft Garage experimental project group, and it looks more or less like flipboard and the large number of other news aggregation applications that are out there. You can login with Facebook or LinkedIn, and choose what topics you want to follow so that the application is updated.

Here we show you the description Microsoft gives in the App Store:

Find articles and topics that you didn't know you needed. News Pro allows you to expand the reach of your daily news by suggesting new topics to find that are out of your current interests and helping you discover the websites where you can read articles that are interesting to you. You can also search for news related to any topic right in the application so you can always be updating the information.

No wonder that Microsoft felt the need to enter the news space, given the recent interest shown by technology giants like Apple and Facebook. With this new bet, the company has a good number of applications for iOS. The application seems quite common for many, but it may be worth checking out and start comparing among all the other daily news applications that we have available for free or paid in the App Store.

The application is available for devices with iOS 8.0 or later And it is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Download it here.
