Sprint may not sell the OnePlus 7 Pro (photo) this year, but it is the 5G version of OnePlus or at least one device with that technology.

OnePlus prepares to reach the second largest operator in the United States, but now with a 5G phone.

The Chinese company began selling cell phones through T-Mobile last year, with the arrival of the OnePlus 6T, and continued with that association for the launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro Although many of us expected it to reach other operators as well.

Sprint announced on Tuesday, August 6 that it will soon sell a OnePlus cell phone with 5G capability in the United States, the first OneGlus 5G cell phone in the country and the fourth with that operator connectivity.

The Chinese company announced the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G at the same time as the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 a few weeks ago, but that phone has only been available in the United Kingdom. Sprint has not revealed if the OneGlus 5G cell phone to offer will be the same OnePlus 7 Pro 5G or if it were a special version. However, it is very likely to be the same with some internal changes to allow compatibility with the network.

The exact launch date and the price of the device are not yet known, but we expect the OnePlus 5G cell phone to be more expensive than the OnePlus 7 Pro (US $ 699).

Sprint currently offers 5G service in Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Houston and Kansas City and expects to continue launching its network in different markets such as Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix and Washington D.C. in the next months.
