Imagine that you are looking through Google Images for some works of art on a wall, things on a shelf or new ideas for furniture. Now, if you see something you like, you can easily swipe up to quickly go to your website. The new feature for Google Images, called Swipe to Visit, is now being implemented on mobile phones.
The function provides a faster way to preview the Google Images web pages, using AMP calls (accelerated mobile pages), which are designed to accelerate the loading of pages on mobile devices.
Swipe to visit work on all mobile web browsers, but not work in the Pixel search bar or in the Google application at this time, according to Google. Also, keep in mind that some websites may not be compatible with AMP yet, but that's how it works.
