WhatsApp simultaneous on several phones: A dream that will soon come true

Angela Lang / CNET

WhatsApp, the most used messenger service in the world, is constantly updated to provide a better service to its millions of users, but there is something it does not have and that competitors such as Telegram offer.

This is the multi-device service (beyond the desktop version, WhatsApp Web), whose absence prevents us, for example, from using the application on two mobile phones at the same time. But this will be about to change. According to the portal specialized in the application of messenger WABetaInfo, the service developers are already working to offer you this possibility.

In this way you can have your WhatsApp account with the same phone number on all the devices you want regardless of whether they are Android phones, iPhone, computers or tablets. Currently WhatsApp, unlike Telegram that with an account associated with the same phone number allows you to open as many sessions as you want, only allows one on a single device and closes the others.

CNET in Spanish sent a request for comments to Facebook and we will update as soon as we get an answer.

Other changes we hope to see soon in WhatsApp are the arrival of animated stickers like the ones currently on Facebook Messenger and also the possibility to ignore archived chats, but for the moment for none of them there has been official confirmation from the company so we will have to wait for it to arrive.
