Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, the game of the same developers as Pokmon Go, landed in the App Store on June 20, one day earlier than expected.
If you, like us, downloaded the game with enthusiasm and started playing immediately, you may now encounter the same problem: you have run out of spell power.
For those who have played Pokmon Go, spell power is the equivalent of Pokeballs, that is, you need Spell Power to cast spells.
Casting spells allows you to eliminate confusibles, which are nasty magical elements that prevent you from returning to the Wizard world, which is the main objective of the game. You also need the spell energy to cast growth spells in Greenhouses.
So basically, without Spell Energy at your disposal, you are stuck or stuck. There is almost nothing you can achieve in the game without this energy. You are able to carry up to 75 Spell Energy at a time, but each spell you cast costs you one.
And depending on the Level of Severity of the Confused that you are trying to get rid of, you may need to cast a spell several times per fight.
The problem is that the Spell Energy is not the easiest to achieve. If you have run out of gold, you will have the option to spend 100 Gold to get 50 spell power, but if you continue to do so, you will soon run out of gold too and beyond, you will have to spend real money through the purchase inapp to get more.
So how do you get Spell Energy without spending gold? There are several ways to do it:
1. Visit Posadas
The inns look a lot like Pokstops in Pokmon Go. They look like houses, and are dotted with reasonable regularity on the map. When you visit an inn you will be given at least one spell power unit.
You can revisit the inn after a certain period of time (usually five minutes based on our experience) to get more Spell Energy.
But this is a fairly slow process, so it is advisable to eat as often as possible when you play Wizards Unite to make sure you are collecting spell power regularly.
The inns with smoke coming out of the chimney are those that you have visited recently, so they won't give you another meal yet.
2. Visit Greenhouses
You are not guaranteed to get spell power in the Greenhouses, which most often give ingredients as a reward, but this happens occasionally, so it is always worth visiting them just in case.
3. Daily allowances
Sometimes, Daily Assignments will give you Spell Energy as a reward when you complete them. You can check if you have any by clicking on the calendar icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
4. Daily treasure
In addition, some Daily Treasure comes in the form of Spell Energy. You just have to open the application every day to pick them up. But of course, if your next Daily Spell Energy Treasure does not promise to arrive in less than nine days (as in our case), then this point will not be very useful for you.
You can check your next daily treasure by going to the calendar icon in the lower right corner of the map screen and clicking the star icon at the top.
5. Level up
It is not guaranteed that you will get any kind of spell power when you level up, but it is something that can happen. When you level up you will always get a variety of rewards.
Tip: You can increase your spell power capacity by 10 if you spend 150 gold on Wiseacres. Reach Wiseacres by clicking on your Suitcase, then in the basket at the top right of the screen, and then on the second icon that looks like a crystal ball.
