Apple Card and its international expansion

Last March the firm unveiled the Apple Card, your own credit card which, issued together with MasterCard and Goldman Sachs, provides different advantages to the users of the company's devices. With an initial launch in the United States that began just a few weeks ago, questions about its international launch rise, something to which the CEO has now replied.

Asked about his arrival in Germany by the aforementioned medium, Cook has assured that They are working to take the card outside the United States, confirming that reaching that region in the future. Emphasizes, however, the regulatory difficulties involved in its deployment:

We want to offer the card anywhere. However, banking products will have to be imported country by country because banks and regulations are different everywhere.

Apple Pay was a challenge for the company in this regard and, although in countries like Spain it took only a couple of years to reach the first banks after the initial launch in the United States, in territories like Germany it has not been effective until the end of 2018 and early this year. The Apple Card promises to offer at least the same complexity in the face of its expansion throughout the world, so, despite the intentions expressed by Cook, we could still see it come true in Europe.
