DeviceAtlas has used the mobile web traffic data of associated web pages to find out what are the mobile phones that have been most searched for during Q2 of 2019. Specifically, those responsible for the analysis have obtained data from 36 countries, including the United States, Japan, United Kingdom and Spain, among others.

Your iPhone 7 was the most popular model between April and June 2019, followed by the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone 8. The throne of the most popular mobile phones in the United Kingdom also has the same owner: the iPhone 7, also followed by the iPhone 8. Despite its launch in September 2016, iPhone 7 continues to attract public interest, if we take into account the data analyzed by DeviceAtlas. And Apple's phone is also the most popular mobile phone in Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Poland, Romanian, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Colombia, Australia, Singapore and South Africa. Not bad, right?
Apple's dominance in the searches of all these countries is evident, relegating Android to quite low positions in the lists. In fact, Google’s operating system only gets the first place in Ukraine, Brazil, Argentina, India, South Korea, Indonesia and Egypt.
In many countries, we must search in the middle of the table to find Android models
To find a list with a predominant Android presence we must go to South Korea, Samsung and LG territory. There, the most searched mobile between April and June 2019 was the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, followed by the Galaxy Note 9 and the LG X4 +. In fifth position we find the iPhone X, but then returns the Android domain with the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016).
If we focus In Spain, Apple is the protagonist of the first most popular mobile positions with the iPhone 7, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. Moreover, among those twelve most searched models of the Q2 only 4 Android phones appear (Huawei P8 Lite, Samsung Galaxy S8, Huawei 20 Lite and Samsung Galaxy S7).
In addition, it also highlights the ranking of most wanted phones in Ukraine, where Xiaomi phones star in 6 of the top 12 positions. The rest of the models belong to Samsung and Apple, which sees how their iPhone 7 is placed in an interesting second position.
In general, Apple dominates the most popular mobile lists worldwide after analyzing web searches. Specifically, it is your iPhone 7 that stands as the main winner of the study. On the other side is Android, which cannot boast of some lists in which it has a little prominent presence.
