There are no surprises here: Google phones will logically be the first to receive the update. Android 9.0 Pie saw the end of support for Nexus devices, so some may fear that the original Google Pixel could lose Android 10, after receiving two major operating system updates. However, the first Pixel is included in the beta version of Android 10, so it is very likely that you will get the final version. Hopefully, the Pixel 3rd and 3rd XL midrange will also receive updates.

These Google phones are expected to receive Android 10:

  • Google Pixel 3rd XL
  • Google Pixel 3a
  • Google Pixel 3 XL
  • Google Pixel 3
  • Google Pixel 2
  • Google Pixel 2 XL
  • Google Pixel
  • Google Pixel XL

It is common for Huawei to take some time to deliver the main Android updates, simply because of how different EMUI is from the Android stock. However, the Chinese manufacturer seems to intend to start running Android 10, as it has announced the beta version of EMUI 10 (based on Android 10) for September 8. That beta first reach the Huawei P30 Pro and then the Mate 20.

Those are quite obvious models for the update, but what about the other phones? Huawei has also mentioned the Mate 10 Pro, and it would not surprise us to see that some of Huawei's recent mid-range phones are up to par, along with the P20 of last year. We are likely to hear more about that closer to the EMUI 10 release.

OnePlus is well represented in the beta version of Android 10, with its three most recent devices: OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 6T, all with access to the beta version of Android 10. The company released an update for Android 10 to be available through the last open beta version of OxygenOS.

But, in September 2019, OnePlus confirmed the arrival of Android 10 in the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro.

The truth is that, traditionally, OnePlus has been quite generous with the updates. Android 9.0 Pie was introduced on devices as old as the OnePlus 3.

Samsung is tremendously prolific. If you don't believe us, check out the huge list of updated phones of the South Korean brand in our list of Android 9.0 Pie updates. Samsung has the resources to update many terminals and, generally, it is worth waiting until we hear rumors about specific devices or when you update us with a definitive list.

Samsung has never been quick with updates, thanks to its continued insistence on using its own custom mask on Android. Having a user interface is great, but it takes time to do it.

The company has previously promoted major Android updates to phones before the end of the year, with some Android Pie updates that arrived in December 2018, but it is the exception rather than the rule.

We expect most of Samsung's Android 10 updates to arrive in 2020. However, Samsung has confirmed – in October 2019 – the arrival of Android 10 along with One UI 2 to the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, S10e and Galaxy S10 5G.

Finally, Samsung has opened its beta phase to users who have a Galaxy S10. In addition, the South Korean firm debuts on these terminals One UI 2.0, the last version of its graphic interface.

Samsung phones are expected to receive Android 10:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 10
  • Samsung Galaxy Fold
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S10
  • Samsung Galaxy S10e
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 9
  • Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus
  • Samsung Galaxy S9

Xiaomi has offered two of its phones as volunteers to participate in the Android 10 beta program. We believe that they will be the only devices of the firm that will receive it in the West. The Redmi K20 Pro is also part of the Android 10 beta program in China and Xiaomi may focus its efforts primarily on the Chinese market to start. But we are sure that the manufacturer will release the updates to the West, although not in the short term.

These Xiaomi phones are expected to receive Android 10:

  • Xiaomi Mi 9
  • Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
  • Redmi K20 Pro (in China)
