After the success of the new version of Resident Evil 2, a leak shows that Capcom may have the next entry close to launch. Two new pieces of art for Resident Evil 3 (called Biohazard in Japan) appeared in the Japanese PlayStation digital store for a brief period, which was compiled by gamestat, a website that tracks Sony's software and applications.
One of the listings is clearly for the main game of Resident Evil 3, but the other one is called "Z Version", probably a luxury edition of some variety. There is a possibility that Capcom can launch the classic version again with some changes, but smart money is in another version, which will be able to debut next week during The Game Awards.
Gamestat data also shows the box design for the previously announced Resident Evil cooperative survival game called Resistance. According to the leak, the Resistance Project will now be called Resident Evil Resistance. We can find the answers to all this during the Game Awards, but since the leak is there, it won't surprise us if Capcom makes it official before that.
