Samsung presented its new line of Galaxy S phones, composed of the Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra, which stand out for their artificial intelligence-supported policy and for their 5G connection. In an event held in Mexico City, the brand gave details about the availability and price of the new smart phones in the country.
John Velasco / Digital TrendsThe Galaxy S20 + and S20 Ultra are the most advanced of the new family, with an Infinity-O Display of 6.7 and 6.9 inches, respectively; both with Quad HD + Dynamic resolution, HDR10 + and 120 Hz refresh rate for a better mobile video game experience, for example.
The Galaxy S20, the input model of the new series, also stands out for its Infinity-O Display, but 6.2 inches. Of course, it maintains the resolution Quad HD + Dynamic, compatibility with HDR10 + and the refresh rate of 120 Hz.
In the optical section, the Galaxy S20 and S20 + are more similar, since they come with a main camera with three sensors, including a 64 megapixel telephoto; the difference is that the S20 + integrates an additional sensor: Depth Vision or a time-of-flight camera, as other manufacturers name it. Both of them smartphones include Space Zoom technology, to obtain a zoom of up to 30x (the hybrid is 3x).
The new member with better features, also with Depth Vision, has three main sensors, including a 48 megapixel telephoto. With respect to Space Zoom, you can reach a zoom of up to 100x (the hybrid is 10x).
Some of the specifications that all members share are: 8K recording, eight-core processor, fast charging (25 watts) and Android 10. The battery capacity is different for each cell phone: 4,000 mAh for the S20 , 4,500 mAh for the S20 + and 5,000 mAh for the S20 Ultra.
The arrival of the new Galaxy S20 in Mexico
In Mexico, from February 11 to 29, 2020, there is a prior registration for those interested in acquiring one of the new Galaxy S20; there will be a pre-sale from March 3 to 12, in which the new Galaxy Buds + will be presented to the first 2,000 customers of the Galaxy S20 + and S20 Ultra (the only one to be equipped with 5G in the country); and the regular sale of smartphones begin on March 13 (the day marked internationally is March 6).
The Galaxy S20 (8 RAM and 128 GB of storage), in pink and gray colors, will be priced at $ 20,000 pesos; the Galaxy S20 + (8 GB in RAM and 128 GB of storage), in gray and blue, cost $ 25,000 pesos; and the Galaxy S20 Ultra (12 GB in RAM and 128 GB of storage), in gray and black, will be sold for $ 30,000 pesos.
The other great team that comes to Mexico
It is noteworthy that the new Galaxy Z Flip (8 GB in RAM and 256 GB of storage) can already be purchased in Mexico, in presale. The date communicated by Samsung in its international event was that of February 14, that is why the advance of the Mexican division is striking.
The company's new cellular member is available in purple and black colors, for a price of $ 33,000 pesos. Its regular sale begins on February 28, 2020 with national operators and in the brand's stores.
