Not only did it change on the outside, the BlackBerry Red Edition comes with changes -although very few- on the inside.

During the Berlin IFA 2018, BlackBerry unveiled its BlackBerry Key2, a cell phone with everything we expect from a BlackBerry: physical keyboard, focus on productivity and a classic design of the brand.
If we rely on the normal cycle of model renewal that brands have, the company should launch a new BlackBerry this summer, but it won't. TCL, the company that owns the BlackBerry brand, confirmed to us during its official event held on Sunday within the framework of the Mobile World Congress, that there will be no new model this summer, although perhaps there could be later.
In exchange, the manufacturer has presented a version of the BlackBerry Key2 in a deep red color that it has called the Red Edition. It is a bright and very beautiful color, which certainly does not go unnoticed when you hold it in your hand.
The cell phone has the exact same design as the original Key2 except for this color change. However, there are differences inside. Specifically, there is an increase in internal storage, which goes from 64GB to 128GB in this Red Edition.
In addition, the company has confirmed to us that the phone will have some changes at the software level such as a new action bar located at the bottom of the screen, which allows quick access to the main functions of the phone.
Price and availability
The BlackBerry Key2 Red Edition will be available in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia in the coming weeks for a price of US $ 749 and will come with headphones in a special edition also in red.
