Xiaomi's May 31 event in Shenzen may be one of the company's biggest in recent years.
It is already confirmed that we will see several products, among which the Xiaomi Mi 8 will stand out, which is what the next Xiaomi flagship will be called. In addition there will be other products such as the Xiaomi Mi Band 3, or is what we expect.
But to these two elements others begin to add and it is that it has begun to speak of a terminal that until now nothing was known, the Xiaomi Mi Note 5, the successor to the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 that was introduced in the fall of last year.
A step below the best
When Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi Mi MIX we did not know, but at that time that family had taken the lead on the Mi Note as the large flagship. The Mi Note 3 had lower specifications than the Mi 6 when until then they were almost the same.
Now an image has filtered the supposed benefits of the Xiaomi Mi Note 5, which seems to follow that trend.
In it we see that the chosen processor will be the Snapdragon 835, the star of 2017 and it makes sense given that the best Xiaomi of this year are clearly betting on the Snapdragon 845.
Both RAM and internal memory are maintained compared to last year's model, with 6 GB and 64 GB respectively, although surely there are more variants.
The screen will be 6 inches with 2.0 design, which surely implies 18: 9 ratio, curved edges and perhaps a notch.
A contained price
All this favors that the price of this model is not too high. According to the image, it will be about 2299 yuan what the model costs with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal, about 300 euros to change.
You have to wait a week to see if these rumors are true. It could also be introduced later, without the shadow of the Xiaomi Mi 8, although that seems more unlikely.
