HotelTonight is back in the news; this time, announcing the launch of its latest novelty to encourage spontaneous travel: Escapa, a recommendation feature with which travelers can be inspired and find great deals for the weekend or right now.
The data has been provided by sources of the app specialized in the reservation of hotels at the last minute, also highlighting that Escapa tracks the exclusive universe of HotelTonight offers, offering the user the possibility of discovering excellent hotels, while creating demand and it helps those hotels fill their available rooms with guests who otherwise would not have booked a room that day.
Regarding how Escapa works, those of HotelTonight have remarked that it is enough to slide the screen to the right when the application is opened or click on the earth icon; there, a list of hotels in nearby destinations that offer the best deals for that night or for the next weekend is displayed.
GeoTarifa updated
In addition to Escapa, HotelTonight has opted to update and increase its GeoTarifa function (formerly Rate Drop and Bonus Rate), which allows the user -based on their location- to obtain up to 70% discount per night, on the discount that HotelTonight already offers .
GeoTarifa also offers hotels a greater level of control and flexibility, to locate new clients, while filling all their rooms.
HotelTonight spokespersons took the opportunity to emphasize that since the launch of this feature in January, the application has aroused notable interest from both consumers and hotels: more than 25% of hotels are already offering GeoTarifa through by HotelTonight; and already a fifth of the rooms that are reserved in HotelTonight are made with this functionality.
