In February 2018, Apple obtained a patent for “dual display devices with enhanced display and suppressed reflections.” From the registration of that patent, a possible double screen can be sensed.
It could be used as a second screen that is permanently attached to the body of the device and can be bent via a hinge system, or can be removed and repositioned as required.
However, it seems more likely that this possible double screen can be used as a keyboard type touchpad. Suggestions have also been heard that that extra screen could also be used with a MacBook in the future.
However, it must be borne in mind that many times the registration of a new patent by a company only means that the development of a new possible product has begun that will only see the light years and years later.
