In the call for the contest, FileMaker encourages all Bloggers and online communities to record a video (3 minutes maximum) explaining the creation process and results of the new Charts creation feature in FileMaker. Among the participants, the 3 most original and creative graphics will be selected.
As announced in its day, FileMaker 11 includes the ability to create graphics in real time with the data stored in the database. In this way, it allows you to produce attractive graphical reports in different formats, such as vertical bars, horizontals, areas, lines or pie charts.
FileMaker has made available to participants a website from which bloggers and interested communities can download a time-limited version and upload their best videos where, in a maximum of 3 minutes, they must explain the process of creating their graphics. The theme is free and the most creative and original graphics will be awarded.
ITunes card prizes
The prizes will be awarded to the 3 best graphics and consist of an iTunes gift card valued at 25, 50 and 75 EUR, respectively. The criteria for choosing the winners will be based on the originality and creativity of the graphics, along with the explanatory process during the recording. The contest will end on June 17 at midnight, date from which a jury made up of FileMaker members will deliberate, based on the aforementioned criteria, the 3 best FileMaker graphics, and will communicate via email the winners of the competition.
