The update improves the speed of moving objects contained in multiple layer groups, converting images to CMYK using certain profiles, the Save for Web feature includes an option to “include XMP” (metadata) in the menu settings within the main Save for Web interface, thus making it easier to access the feature. When you use the Save for the web option with the “include XMP” option enabled, all XMP information is included in the optimized file.
Printed color matching has also been improved. Images saved as DICOM and reopened in Photoshop CS3 no longer get corrupted on Macs based on PowerPC architecture.
