New features in Adobe Reader 8 include support for Adobe Acrobat Connect, an online collaborative work system with Flash. At the same time it offers a new and improved user interface where the toolbars are customizable, the possibility of filling in and submitting forms, saving data and sending digitally signed documents.
At the moment Adobe Reader 8 is only available in English, French, German and Japanese. It is the first version of Adobe Reader with native support for Mac computers with Intel processors. The minimum requirements for its correct operation are: G3 processor, Mac OS X 10.4.3, 128 MB of RAM, 110 MB of free space on the hard disk and Safari 2.0.2.
