In the conference given to analysts, CFO Peter Oppenheimer confirmed that the company plans to offer innovative features on both the iPhone and Apple TV, introducing “new software and application features.” In the words of Oppenheimer, “we hope the result will surprise and satisfy iPhone users.”
For his part, Tim Cook, assured that the delay in the announcement of Mac OS X 10.5 is not due to the fact that the company does not have enough resources; “We have no problem hiring the really right people. We have always planned to use the resources allocated to Mac OS X to complete the iPhone, since the iPhone uses a version of OS X. It is consuming some resources more than expected in order to be available in June, so we had to make a decision and we think we have made the right one ”.
