Tiger incorporates support for digital camera and image file formats, while the Aperture, Preview and iPhoto applications provide support for the RAW image file used by more advanced digital cameras.
Update 1.0.1 released by Apple improves RAW file format support for Canon 400D, Nikon D80 and Pentax * 1st DS models.
This update also allows handling of large Canon RAW files (.CRW), offers support for the Adobe Digital Negative (.DNG) format on Mac based on Intel processors and fixes the problem related to the appearance of lines in some exported images from Aperture.
