Apple joins the HTML Working Group

Earlier this month, W3C invited browser developers, application developers, and content designers to help design the next version of HTML. The group advocates the use of the XHTML (XML-based) format because of the benefits XML formats provide.

Three members of Apple’s Safari team have joined the group, indicating in a blog post that they are also looking to participate in other W3C working groups as well as other groups on standards related to web technology.
