In this version, the Color Warper tool (already present in Autodesk Flame) is added that develops selective and primary correction, as well as allowing fine-tuning with multiple levels of adjustments in a single pass and also improvements in the schematic view.
Color Warper’s features include: interactive gamma, gain, offset, hue, saturation and contrast adjustments; intuitive color and color ink roller for fast, tight color balance as well as a palette of visual color swatches for accurate color play; interactive histogram and curve editing modes for greater precision and smoothness in color components; independent controls for the correction of color in the shadows of images, regions to be highlighted, etc; “Snap” features for fast scene-to-scene color correction; “selective” capability for samples of up to three different color regions for isolated correction and new user interface features.
Combustion 2008 will be available this month in both its Macintosh and Windows versions and its recommended price is 1,200 EUR. It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.9, both with systems with PowerPC G5 processors and those based on Intel) and for its correct operation it needs 2 GB of RAM memory, 2 GB of free space on the hard disk, accelerating graphics card with OpenGL and DVD-ROM drive.
