BBEdit incorporates text editing, search and manipulation capabilities, including the use of regular expressions with grep syntax, searching and replacing between multiple files, syntax coloring for the source code of various languages, code folding, FTP and SFTP support, etc.
The new version is a maintenance review that resolves the bugs reported by the users of the application, in addition to incorporating a series of additional improvements.
BBEdit requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and is Universal binary.
