Mac users in Catalonia have been trying to convince Apple to include Catalan language support in its operating system.
Apple offered such support at the system level in previous versions of the Mac operating system, from OS 7 to OS 9. The company in charge of localizing Mac OS X for the Spanish, Portuguese and French languages ββis located in Catalonia.
Microsoft already offers support for this language in its Windows Vista operating system, and the Catalan version of Linux is also available. Nokia, Motorola and Google also offer support for this language.
