The PJ258D weighs less than 2 kg and displays an image with a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. The maximum brightness is 2,000 lumens with 2000: 1 contrast. A cradle allows you to connect your iPod to the projector, so that you can use the device to view video stored on an iPod without having to copy it to your computer first.
The PJ258D also incorporates S-Vide and VGA connections, thus allowing the connection of other video sources such as a Mac or PC, a DVD player or a game console.
