MacFUSE offers Mac OS X developers the ability to organize almost any data within a file system, offering the ability to make use of Linux-based FUSE file systems on the Mac platform.
Amit Singh, head of engineering for Mac clients within Google and author of the book “Mac OS X Internals” has been commissioned to make the announcement during a conference, at Macworld Expo, called “Taming Mac OS X Filesystems” (“Taming Mac OS X file systems ”). MacFUSE has been designed to be an API for FUSE, allowing virtually any file system to be interpreted under Mac OS X.
The application is available, for download, from the Google website.
