Apple has announced its collaboration with various airlines in order to offer the first integration of the iPod with inflight entertainment systems. The six airlines with which it is collaborating will begin offering their passengers iPod docks in the seats, which will allow passengers to power and recharge their iPods during the flight, as well as to view the video content of their iPods on the screen integrated into the seat back.
