Chinese smartphone maker Meizu, which had a long sabbatical, is back in the game with a slew of new smartphones across all segments. Meizu’s launch today is the Rs 39,999 M16th smartphone, the Rs 7,999 budget M6T and the Meizu C9 which is priced at Rs 5,999 in India. The C9 goes on sale on Amazon India at 4pm today and will be available at 4,999 for a limited time. The 16 and the M6T are coming soon.

Meizu M16th

The Meizu M16 was recently released In China, in August it will basically rival low-cost flagships like the Xiaomi Poco and OnePlus 6T as it contains Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC inside, along with a water-cooling system for dissipation of the hot.

The highlight of the M16th is its super slim design that also manages to squeeze an in-screen fingerprint reader and dual speaker system. The M16 will be available in Moonlight White and Midnight Black color options.

The device will be available in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and will also be packed into a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED panel with an 18: 9 screen aspect ratio that is omitted from the display notch. .

On the back is the dual camera setup which features 12 MP (f / 1.8) + 20 MP (f / 2.4) cameras made by Sony. The main camera features OIS, while the secondary 20 MP unit is accompanied by a 3X telephoto lens. There is also a laser autofocus system to accompany the OIS system. The front camera is a 20 MP unit with an f / 2.0 aperture.

Connectivity options include dual SIM 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (2 × 2 MIMO), GPS. The phone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom end.

Special offers from Jio were also announced for the M16th. Customers will get Rs 2,200 cashback along with 100GB data.

Meizu M6T

The M6T is a budget offering from Meizu and falls far short of the premium M16 model with its all-plastic body. The device was thrown out in China in May this year.

The Meizu M6T will be available in 3GB RAM / 32GB storage.

The device features a rounded design with a glass front with a tall 5.7-inch HD + display (720 x 1440 pixels). The rest is made of polycarbonate with the dual cameras and the fingerprint reader located on the back.

The M6T is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 SoC combined with one of the storage and RAM options mentioned above. All variants come with expandable storage that supports microSD cards up to 128GB.

There are dual cameras on the back with a 13 MP + 2 MP sensor setup and an 8 MP shooter on the front for selfies. The main camera setup also features an LED flash.

The phone supports the usual connectivity options including 4G LTE bands, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery.

In terms of deals, Jio customers will get Rs 2,200 cash back along with 50GB of data.

Meizu c9

The Meizu C9 is a new device and features a 5.45-inch HD + screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio inside a plastic body.

The device is powered by a Un98CE SC9832E SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz and a quad-core configuration. Along with the chipset are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with the second SIM slot accepting microSD cards up to 128GB.

Camera-wise, the C9 features a 13 MP (f / 2.2) AF camera on the back and an 8 MP (f / 2.2) FF camera on the front for selfies.

Connectivity options include support for 4G LTE bands, Wi-Fi (2.4 Ghz), Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. The phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port for data transfers and charging on the bottom. The phone is powered by a 3,000 battery and will be available in black and blue color options.

In terms of deals, Jio customers will get Rs 2,200 cash back along with 50GB of data.

The company also announced two headphones: Meizu Pop at Rs 6,999 and EP52 Lite at Rs 1,999.
