AmpliTube 2 Jimi Hendrix Edition is, according to the manufacturer, the first guitar amplification and effects modeling software focused on Jimi Hendrix. The Hendrix Edition includes nine vintage effects, four vintage amp models, seven cabinets, and four plug-in effects (rotary speaker, stereo reverb, parametric EQ, and Tube Compressor).
The software will be available in the first quarter of 2007 for Mac OS X as a VST, RTAS and AU (Audio Unit) plug-in, as well as as a standalone application. The software will have an approximate price of $ 249.
