Audio 8 DJ is a USB 2.0 audio interface specifically designed for the Traktor 3, but it can also work with other DJ software. The device has a configuration of eight inputs and as many outputs and two studio-quality audio preamps. The device case is made of aluminum.
The Audio 8 DJ draws power from the USB bus to which it is connected, and also incorporates a microphone input for dubbing, grounding, and a MIDI I / O interface for synchronizing an external MIDI device and connecting other control hardware.
The device ships with Traktor 3 LE, a two-track program with mixer, effects, glue and loop functions, track database, and Beatport integration.
Audio 8 DJ will be available next April or May and will have an approximate price of $ 449.
Another product announced by Native Instruments has been Traktor Scratch. This is a professional DJ system that the manufacturer claims is designed to be JD’s ultimate computer-based solution for CD-controlled digital music files and turntables. The system consists of a special version of Native Instruments Traktor software, the Audio 8 DJ hardware interface, a pair of “Instant Connect” multicore cables, and a vinyl and CD set.
Traktor Scratch will be available next April or May for an approximate price of $ 669.
