Senior Vice President of Design Jonathan Ive has been at the forefront of the redesign process, as stated in information released by Apple Insider. The current iMac’s design is three years old.
The information indicates that the new iMac will include a substantial “facelift using new industrial designs that will leave competitors and copycats by the wayside.”
As stated, the new iMac will be slimmer and built to display high definition content as indicated in the information. Apple Insider also indicates that Apple could take the 17-inch model out of the product line.
