New security hole in Mac OS X

As published by the French security team, French Security Incident Response Team (FrSIRT): this failure is due to a memory corruption error in “com.apple. AppleDiskImageController ”when handling corrupt DMG image structures, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands forcing the user to visit a malicious web page using Safari.”

The bug affects Mac OS X 10.4.8 and earlier versions of the operating system.
