Nokia 8.1 Gets Limited Time Discount, RAM Variant …

When HMD Global launched the Nokia 8.1, it was a smartphone that was in a league of its own, as we concluded in our detailed review. Its price tag of Rs 26,999 was a bit high compared to the competition, which also included the mighty Xiaomi. Little f1. And this was the price of the 4GB RAM variant with the 6GB RAM model priced higher at Rs 29,999.

Now, for a limited time, fans who were expecting a price cut can now buy the smartphones at a discount.

According to him Nokia official website, the 4GB RAM variant of the device fetches Rs 5,000 and is now priced at Rs 21,999.

The 6GB RAM variant gets a minor discount of Rs 3,000 and is now priced at Rs 26,999.

Both variants of the smartphone will be available with their respective discounted price tags both in stores and online until June 30, 2019.

This brings the price of the rather premium-looking Nokia 8.1 into the Poco F1 range that starts from Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. This also makes it a very attractive offering given that Nokia’s camera is better than Poco’s and even looks more elegant with its glass and metal construction.

As for the rest of the specs, the Nokia 8.1 features a 6.18-inch FHD + screen that can display HDR 10 content. There is a 12 MP + 13 MP dual rear camera setup on the back and a 20-inch selfie camera. MP that sits inside that huge screen on the front.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2.2 GHz and is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery.

Prepaid customers who choose to buy the Nokia 8.1 can enjoy 1TB of 4G data on eligible plans starting at Rs 199.

Postpaid customers can also avail of additional 120GB data along with a three-month Netflix subscription and one-year Amazon Prime subscription on plans starting at Rs 499.
