HMD Global is preparing to launch three new smartphones on December 5 in Dubai. The company’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, posted an invitation to “save the date” on Twitter with the caption, “#ExpectMore.” Although it did not reveal which smartphones will be launched on this date, the invitation image has schematics of three devices: two with a notch and one without a notch. This suggests that the Nokia 9, which is rumored to feature a notchless display, could be featured at the event alongside Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.1 Plus.
Nokia 9 with five rear cameras: specifications and expected features
Nokia 9, the company’s next flagship, is speculated with a five-camera setup, the first on any smartphone. It could also be the first PureView branded phone. Earlier this week, @OnLeaks and 91mobiles posted on Twitter 5K images and a 360-degree video of Nokia 9, showing five rear cameras with Zeiss branding. The setup is expected to consist of a telephoto, wide-angle, and depth-sensing camera, in addition to other cameras.
Although there won’t be any notches, the display could have visible bezels on all sides and a noticeable chin. In terms of specs, the Nokia 9 PureView will likely have a 5.8-inch QHD display with an 18: 9 screen aspect ratio. The phone will run Android Pie out of the box. It can be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Other expected features include a 4150mAh battery as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor in addition to the Face Unlock feature.

Nokia 8.1: Specifications and Expected Features
Nokia 8.1, rumored to be a global variant of the Nokia X7 that launched in China last month, is also expected to make its debut on December 5. The phone will launch in India on November 28, states a report in 91mobiles and will be priced at Rs 23,999.

Nokia 8.1 is expected to be a premium mid-range smartphone, which will likely be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor along with 4GB of RAM. The phone will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. It could feature a 6.18-inch FHD + screen with PureDisplay technology and an 18.7: 9 screen aspect ratio. The rear cameras are expected to be 13MP + 12MP, while the front camera will be 24MP.
Nokia 2.1 Plus: Specifications and Expected Features
Nokia 2.1 Plus was recently spotted on the US FCC certifications site under the model number TA-1136. According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, Nokia 2.1 Plus will be a larger variant of Nokia 2.1. It will be similar to its predecessor in terms of specifications and will not be sold in the US market. More details of Nokia 2.1 Plus are unclear at this time.
