The PT-AE2000 is the evolution of the PT-AE1000, which this time has a contrast of 16,000: 1, a brightness of 1,500 lumens, processes digital images of up to 16 bits and Full HD quality (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). It uses a new objective system consisting of 16 lenses in 12 groups, including two large diameter aspherical lenses and two ED lenses, in order to achieve projections free of distortion or mixing of colors, according to the manufacturer.
The new Detail Clarity processor analyzes the frequency of each frame in three dimensions, while LCD panels use liquid crystal molecules aligned with organic alignment layers to provide greater contrast.
It has three HDMI inputs and two component inputs; command with universal programming; 2x optical zoom; can project a 120-inch image at a distance of just 3.6 m and up to 7.2 m from the screen; and has a recommended price of 3,490 EUR.
