PowerBoost is a module for iChat AV that allows Mac users to establish multi-user conferencing on Macs that by default do not support iChat AV. You can invite up to 10 iChat users to an audio conference, or have a video chat between three or four users.
Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” introduces Photo Booth effects that allow you to add some visual changes to video conferences. Unfortunately, the system requirements for such capacity limits its use to Macs equipped with Intel Core Duo or higher.
PowerBoost 1.0.2 allows such Photo Booth effects to be used on Mac with Leopard and PowerPC and Intel Core Solo processors.
