The new version of the software offers an improved user interface and its features have been redesigned to make it easier to use. Merlin 2 is sold together with a series of ready-to-use templates that can be selected from the beginning of the project.
A new Utilization view provides a preview of available resources, allowing project managers to more easily identify areas of a project that need resources or that their resources are above what is needed.
Other added features are Calendar support, the ability to drop resource data into the project library, collaboration tools, printing tools, and reporting tools.
Merlin 2 is priced at 145 EUR, and you can download an evaluation version from the developer’s website.
