This version adds the ability to send SMS messages to any mobile phone and call in conference mode between a maximum of ten people. It also supports one-to-one video calls.
Skype provides users with the ability to use text, sound and video messages for free. It also supports the ability to make and receive calls from land lines and mobile phones through paid services.
The system requirements are a G4 800 MHz or faster (including computers based on Intel architecture), Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, 512 MB of RAM, 40 MB of hard disk space, microphone and webcam.
