The 46th edition of SIMO begins today in Madrid

True to its appointment, SIMO today opens its doors to the professional public and will also do so with an exceptional guest: the official presentation, at a European level, of Windows Vista, Microsoft’s new operating system that, after five years of development, finally see the light.

Thus, and throughout the 50,000 square meters of exhibition, visitors (professionals until Friday) will be able to learn about the latest bets and proposals in computing and technology.

It should be noted that, as the director of the show, Santiago Quiroga, recently stated, “the 2006 edition will mark a new stage in the celebration of SIMO”, thus ensuring that this will be a “singularly important” edition.

In line with this, Santiago Quiroga considers that it is time to give prominence to those who “do bet on the Information Society” and attend this fair event, adding that it is “a privilege to have a fair like SIMO because of the commitment that it entails ”.
