To improve the quality of communication and connectivity, Truecaller today introduced a new voice feature called “Truecaller Voice.” This feature will allow users to make free high-quality, low-latency and fast calls to make calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data. According to the company, the 140 million users in the global user base will be able to use this feature.
It is a feature based on the application’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and is available near call logs, SMS inbox, contact profile, and post-call screen so that the user cannot have to switch to a completely different page to go to the option.
As of now, the feature has been rolled out for all Android users and will roll out for other devices gradually. According to the company, Truecaller users make approximately 180 million outbound calls in a day. Truecaller also offers a single, integrated communication platform that has almost all the key features such as Caller ID, Smart Dialing, Smart SMS Inbox, Mobile Payments, and Flash Messages, so that people can use the app seamlessly.
