FontDoctor is a typeface diagnosis, repair and organization utility with PostScript (Type 1 and 3), TrueType, Multiple Master, Open Font, and DataFork (.dfont) support. Among other features, it takes care of automatically examining font folders, detecting and repairing problems such as lost bitmaps, lost PostScript fonts, damaged or corrupted fonts, conflicts with font IDs, extra font sizes, etc.
The new version adds the ability to run as a native application on Macs equipped with Intel processors. Additionally, it adds organizational features so that fonts can be organized by font name, family name, alphabetically, or by other options.
