Thousands of the latest and most popular YouTube videos will be available at launch in mid-June, and YouTube will add thousands more videos each week until the entire YouTube catalog is available next fall. .
YouTube members will also be able to log into their YouTube accounts directly from Apple TV to view and save their favorite videos.
Apple today also announces a new Apple TV model, as a custom configuration option, incorporating a 160GB hard drive. The new hard drive offers four times the storage capacity of the standard model, for up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs, 25,000 photos or a combination of all these different types of content.
The new Apple TV model with a 160 GB disk will be available from June 1 in the Apple Store online at the recommended price of 379 EUR (VAT included). YouTube capability for Apple TV will be available as a free software update in mid-June.
